1. Overview
This page is a placeholder. The wording below is generic and non-binding, included only to lay out the structure of the document. Final, reviewed copy will replace it before general availability.
2. Using reSES
reSES is a hosted transactional email API that sends through your own Amazon SES account. You are responsible for using the service in compliance with applicable laws and with Amazon's and your recipients' policies.
3. Accounts & responsibility
You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and workspaces, for keeping your API keys secret, and for the accuracy of the information you provide.
4. Your data & your SES
Email is delivered through your own AWS account, so your sending reputation and per-email costs remain yours. reSES stores message metadata and delivery events to power the dashboard; retention follows your plan.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use reSES to send unsolicited bulk email, malicious content, or anything that violates the rights of others. We may suspend accounts that put deliverability or other customers at risk.
6. Changes to this document
We may update this document from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
